Who We Are

Interfaith Housing Development Corporation (IHDC) is an interfaith partnership of 29 Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Quaker congregations organized to address the needs of the homeless and the lack of affordable housing within Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Our purpose is to provide housing for rent or sale to low-income families and the homeless and to assist them to become self-sufficient.

Help Us Help Others

Since it completed its first rehabilitated house in 1989, Interfaith has acquired over one hundred units of affordable housing in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, serving as many low income or homeless families through rentals or sales.

In addition to providing hope through homes, Interfaith also helps families by supplying furniture and house set-up supplies. When a family is homeless, they sometimes loose all their belongings as they become displaced and enter a shelter. Our outreach gives families the start they need when funds are very limited. Interfaith also continues to monitor these families by helping them to establish a budget and by mortgage counseling to allow them to become independent, self-sufficient, prospering members of their community.

Donations of gifts-in-kind such as beds, dressers, kitchen sets, living room tables and lamps, linens and towels, tools and cleaning supplies as well as contributions of any size are always welcome.

To make a gift, or learn more about our work, call us at 215-945-8630 or check out the opportunities in our How to Help
