How You Can Help

There are many ways that you can assist the efforts of Interfaith Housing Development Corporation. And, some opportunities don't even require you to be in our area - you can help right from the privacy of your own living room. Take a look below, and discover what areas you may be interested in supporting.

Give of Your Time

One of the most precious commodities in life is time. By volunteering to help build a home, paint a wall, move furniture or a thousand other things that require little more than your time, you can truly make a difference! Click here to give of your time.

Show Us Your Talents

From press releases to plumbing, if you have a specific talent, it can be put to use at Interfaith. Know how to design a newsletter? - we've got a job for you! Do you get frustrated when people don't know the difference between a rabbit joint and a lap? We're willing to listen and let you show the way! Click here to show us your talents.

Be Generous with Your Money

As a 501(c) 3 organization (non-profit, that is), one of our biggest concerns is money. We can't help others without it. But you can help us by making a tax-deductible contribution today! Would you rather provide an endowment, or put is in your will? We would be grateful, you would get significant tax savings, and another family would find a home. Click here to be generous with your money.

Contribute Your Furniture

As a way of supporting families once they are placed and others who are referred to us, IHDC developed an all volunteer furniture ministry. Although going strong, referrals from needy households are increasing faster than our ability to provide for them. Don't throw the old dresser away.
